Our Ranch

We wouldn’t be New Day without our beautiful ranch, 125 rambling acres of grassland and wooded meadows where we run, roam and explore on two legs and on four. This vibrant land is a haven of healing, growth and renewal, ready and waiting for those seeking a breath of fresh air, a surprising adventure or a new perspective.

Located 25 miles south of Cincinnati and 60 miles north of Lexington, our ranch is home to New Day’s certified instructors, uniquely trained horses, dedicated volunteers, and indoor therapy arena. You’ll also find a fully equipped meeting space, a fishing lake, trails and a petting zoo. Visitors are welcome to meet Fiona the pig, Silas the alpaca, Faith the donkey, and the rest of Bentley’s Barnyard Buddies.

Before it was home to New Day, our ranch was world-famous jockey and Boone-County native Steve Cauthen’s training farm. In a remarkably generous gift, a member of the community purchased the land and gifted it to us for our use so we could improve and expand the programs we offer. We’re grateful for the opportunities their support has afforded everyone whose lives are touched by New Day.
